FIRE SEASON IS OBVIOUSLY HERE

The Doce Fire is burning on the Prescott National Forest approximately 8 miles
northwest of Prescott, Ariz. It is approximately 500 acres. Evacuations have been issued for the Granite Basin area and Iron Springs Club area. The Prescott National Forest has closed campgrounds in the Granite Mountain area and has closed access to all area trails. Highways are blocked at Iron Springs Road and Skyline Drive.The American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter has opened a shelter at Yavapai College in Prescott, Ariz., for residents who were evacuated Tuesday by the Doce Fire.
